Senior Network Engineer

About the role:

Danske Bank's network department is currently participating in a large project in Group IT where we need to migration existing IT services from our existing data centres consisting of a regular network infrastructure to new data centres using Cisco ACI, Citrix NetScaler’s, FortiGate. The migration has been ongoing for 12 months now, and is progressing, however we need assistance with the application migrations and assist with various networking tasks in the infrastructure. The applications that needs to be migrated are Mobility Services (XenMobile), Customer Engagement Services (Adobe Connect, Contact Centre) and Collaboration Services (Skype, Exchange), any knowledge of these services is a plus.

Responsibilities:

•  Build and migrate existing applications and systems from legacy data centres to new enclave based infrastructure
•  Not afraid to try out new technologies, and raise the bar for technical excellence
•  Collaborate closely with the IT team’s architects, engineers and service owners

Requirements (experience with one or more of the following technologies):

•  FortiGate or other firewall knowledge
•  Routing and Switching
•  Cisco ACI
•  Citrix NetScaler
•  General networking knowledge
