Full Stack JavaScript Engineer

There will be opportunities to use and learn the latest frontend frameworks, AWS services, data processing and visualisation techniques.

As a JavaScript Engineer, you will be working within the existing portal team in Vilnius following a well managed agile / scrum methodology. Releases are frequent and you will bring your innovation, dedication and problem solving to a wide range of problems whilst keeping security and flawless customer experience at the forefront.

Although based in Lithuania, you will be working as part of a global team and therefore it may occasionally be necessary to travel to the US or the UK.

Position responsibilities will include:

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess the following skills and attributes:Very good proficiency with spoken and written English
• 2+ years of hands on JavaScript development
• Experience of at least one JavaScript frontend framework
• Experience of writing REST API's in JavaScript
• Experience of Node.js
• Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc)
• Experience delivering complex projects with critical business impact
• A collaborative working style, and the ability to work with other team members, company stakeholders, and customers
• Self-motivated, with the ability to accomplish tasks with minimal guidance
• Attention to detail
• Strong diagnostic, problem solving and communications skills

Useful skills and experience:

• Experience of React.js
• Experience of Amazon Web Services
• Experience working with version control systems (Git, Subversion, etc)
• Experience working with the Atlassian tool suite
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
