frontend architect/developer for financial software developing

Seeking a Front-end Architect/Developer who has built a career creating rich and delightful user experiences. We’re embarking on the next phases of our revolutionary business intelligence product and we need world-class front-end engineering expertise to help design and continue building our data platform — the layer between our data applications and Looker’s core engine. 

The ideal candidate will take an active role in contributing to our long-term technical roadmap and have a proven track record of building core platforms and shared libraries that are highly-extensible, durable, and performant — you’ve “been there, done that” and are eager to share and apply your experience to our challenges. 

• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Advanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• 5+ years experience in production and front-end development
• Expert JavaScript and cascading style sheets skills, Internet Technologies, web development, production and UI issues
• Experience with MVC frameworks such as Angular/JQuery/
• Server side experience preferred with focus on RESTFUL services
